One-year Euribor reached 2.954% in August 2026

The Bank of Spain reported on 1 September that one-year Euribor reached 2.954% in August, up from 2.855% in July and 0.840 percentage points above August 2025.
Euribor is widely used for variable-rate mortgages, but the effect on a payment depends on the spread, review date, outstanding principal and term. APR, linked products, fees and pre-contract information also matter when comparing offers.
If a purchase requires renovation, prepare a separate works budget and contingency before deciding on finance. This is general information, not financial advice or a lender recommendation.
